2VNR Radio was established in 1997 by Hoang Nam. Hoang Nam escaped South Vietnam after the Vietnam War in search of a better life and landed in Australia in 1983. Driven by his passion and dedication to creating a sense of community for the vietnamese people, Hoang Nam decided to start his journey into radio and created Australia's first vietnamese radio station that would be broadcasted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
